Using the site

World Stroll is free to use for personal learning, with family and friends, and with groups such as clubs, care homes, libraries and classes. Please do not use it in a way that harms the site or other people, for example by copying it in bulk with automated tools.

Printable packs

You may print the packs and share the printed copies for free, for example with your group or family. Please do not sell them or remove the credits.

Content and photos

The text of the country pages is ours. Photos are from Wikimedia Commons and belong to their authors, under the free licence shown on each photo; you may reuse them under that licence. Country facts are from the world-countries dataset (ODbL), maps from Natural Earth (public domain) and flags from flag-icons (MIT).

Accuracy

We work hard to keep every page correct and check it before it is published, but facts can change and mistakes can happen. The site is for learning and enjoyment, not for official travel, health or legal advice: before a real trip, check with official sources such as your government's travel advice. If you find a mistake, please tell us.

Recipes

Recipes include food-safety notes where they matter. Please check ingredients for allergies, and follow the notes about raw eggs, raw fish and other risks, especially if you are pregnant, older or have a weak immune system.

Your account

You can use the site without an account. If you sign in, keep access to your email safe, because the sign-in link goes there.

Changes

We may improve the site and update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
